Occupational Therapy

If your child is facing challenges in one of the following areas, then an evaluation by one of our occupational therapists could be helpful:
  • movement of the body, particularly the hands
  • learning to use their hands to reach for and play with toys, handwriting
  • organized behavior for learning, interacting, and playing (sensory processing)
  • feeding / eating, dressing, other self-care tasks
  • strength, balance, or coordination for a variety of movement tasks

If specific equipment or splints are needed for your child, the occupational therapist can help with appropriate recommendations and ordering.
